All of the sense have their importance for Mathilde Bijaoui. Beginning, of course, with olfaction, the one around which everything is organized, with this irrepressible and ageless desire to smell that which surrounds her. Initiated into the world of the senses by her father, a music producer, and in a family context where the kitchen held pride of place, Mathilde had very early on been attentive to her perceptions. Passionate about the plant kingdom to the point of living in the middle of a domestic jungle where each plant has been named by her daughters – “my pet plants,” she calls them – she never ceases to marvel at the olfactory treasures of nature, like a frangipani discovered in Madagascar that she couldn’t take her nose away from. Her manner of experiencing the world involves an intensified and interconnected sensorial state: “When I read a formula, I see colors; materials also evoke textures for me. I have an intimate relationship with ingredients.” Everything began with love at first sight. At 12 years old, the girl who grew up near Versailles discovered the profession of perfumer. It was thanks to a conference at the neighboring Osmothèque – the conservatory of fragrances from the past – that this happened. Next, she frequented ISIPCA on open days. To go there officially, she completed a niversity degree in science and secured a work-study in evaluation at IFF. Formulation continued to be her calling, however, and it was MANE that employed her as a junior perfumer, in Le Bar-sur-Loup. The composition house had faith in her and for good reason. Her aptitude was boundless. After eighteen years in Paris, she joined the MANE creative team of New-York in 2022.

Born in southern France and immersed in the world of scent from an early age, Maud brings over a decade of experience to her work. After earning a Master’s in Cosmetics, Aromas, and Perfumes Engineering (ICAP) and graduating top of her class, she honed her craft at Romessence. Her instinctive, nature-inspired style translates emotion into scent with precision and soul.

Xavier Blaizot – Perfumer (FEU & TERRE)

Raised in a family with seven generations of perfumery heritage, Xavier trained at the prestigious Robertet Perfumery School, studying under industry legends. He has crafted natural fragrances for brands across Mexico, the U.S., and Europe, blending technical mastery with poetic sensitivity - seeing fragrance as a way to translate memory and emotion into scent.
