Vermont Candles

Vermont has a long tradition of making things by hand and making them well. Our Vermont candles are part of that tradition: hand-poured in Bennington with fragrance oils created in Grasse, France, premium wax engineered for clean burn and strong throw, and cotton wicks. The vessels are wheel-thrown ceramics by Farmhouse Pottery in Woodstock, VT. From the wax to the clay, everything about these candles reflects a commitment to materials, place, and craft.

Four Handmade Vermont Candles

  • AIR Candle: grapefruit, ginger, vetiver. Bright and clarifying.
  • EAU Candle: pink pepper, blackcurrant, gardenia. Soft and calming.
  • FEU Candle: cinnamon, neroli, cedarwood. Warm and intimate.
  • TERRE Candle: saffron, davana, woody amber. Grounding and meditative.

All four are available in multiple sizes: 4oz glass, 10oz glass, and ceramic vessels in 12oz, 30oz, and 60oz. The ceramic sizes are wheel-thrown by Farmhouse Pottery, meaning each one is one-of-a-kind.

Vermont Scented Candles and Farmhouse Pottery

Farmhouse Pottery has been making handmade ceramics in Woodstock, Vermont for years. Their wheel-thrown vessels give our Vermont candles a quality that factory-produced containers simply cannot match: weight, warmth, and the subtle irregularities that come from human hands on a pottery wheel. Once the candle has burned down, the vessel becomes a planter, a kitchen container, or a decorative piece. It was designed to be kept.
